One, Two, Three...
How often does it seem that deaths come in three's? And it is oh so noticeable
when those deaths are of famous
people. Just recently Rick James, Fay Wray, and Julia Childs all passed
away within days of each other. One, two,
three. No wonder the world is awash is so many superstitions.

George Bush Is Caught Standing
On The Sidelines, Yet Again...
A Republican front-group is trashing John Kerry's Vietnam War record. Despite
the outrageous nature of their claims,
George Bush refuses to make it known that such tactics are out of bounds.
As usual or so-called Commander In Chief
avoids the big fight, and appears to enjoy the safety of the sidelines.

Zell Miller
The "Sour Mouth" Dirt Delivery Man From Georgia
History was made the other night at the 2004 Republican National Convention.
But it was the kind Democrats could do
without. Senator Zell Miller, Democrat from the state of Georgia launched
into a full-scale assault on his own party,
that will be remembered as an ugly moment in the history of politcal conventions.
Zell may have scored a few political
points for his Republican friends. But, history may offer a less positive
judgement of his disloyalty to his own party

The High Cost Of George Bush's Fatal Attraction
To Iraq and Saddam Hussein.
The entire world now knows that George Bush's unprovoked invasion of Iraq
was justified, based upon bad intelligence.
This awful, expensive disaster, which has already cost 1000 American lives,
has the current administration twisted in
knots, while there are other frightening developments happening around
the world.

At long last there is a museum on the Mall in Washington, D.C. that honors
the American Indian. Unfortunately in that
same city there exists a professional football team with a racist nickname
that should have long-since been changed.

Bush/Kerry Debate No. I
John Kerry delivered big in the first of the three scheduled presidential
debates. But now is not the time for the Kerry
campaign to relax. Their candidate still must refine his message if he
is to win the White House in November.

No Respect
{
Rodney Dangerfield - One Of A Kind }
Who says late middle-age can't be fun? At an age when most people are contemplating
retirement, Rodney Dangerfield
revived his career. With "Caddyshack" and other movies during the 1980's,
Dangerfield became a comedic star to a whole
new generation. Too bad we will never get to hear him say his "no respect"
line, just one more time.

Bush/Kerry Debate No. II
No one really expected President Bush to just pass off his poor performance
in Debate No. I as a bad day at the office.
This time he dusted off the word "liberal" and went into attack mode. Unfortunately
for his campaign, Kerry was the more
effective man in this debate, as well.

Bush/Kerry Debate No. III
The final debate concluded without either candidate delivering a knock-out
blow to the other. John Kerry, smooth and
confident, continued his fine performances. This year's election race is
about dead-even but if anyone has gained a lasting
momentum it is the challenger and not the incumbent president.

What in the world has happened to America's favorite beauty pageant? Because

Rediculous
{ Big Black
Buck Terrell Owen's Encounter
With A Not
Quite So Naked White Woman }
ABC's Monday Night Football caused some controversy this week. Unfortunately,
it was not on the field, but arouse out of
a pregame comedy skit at the beginning of the broadcast. The skit was a
weak parody of ABC's hit new television drama,
"Desperate Housewives." Not only that but the stars of the skit were an
interracial couple. Terrell Owens the football
star who is Black, and Nicolette Sheridan of "Desperate Housewives" who
is white. The skit was steamy -- but nothing
out of the ordinary that isn't hinted at on soap opera's every single day.
So why can't America laugh anymore? Have we
